Margie Robertson discusses her home life in detail. She raised kids, washed clothes, pickled vegetables, and cooked and canned. She talks about racial discrimination as well as recreation, church life, medical care, and shopping. She recounts her husband’s jobs in the highway department, drive-in movie theater, barbershop, and more. Her husband’s jobs allowed her to stay home with their children.
