Interview with Roy Hopkins

Cultural Narrative: 

Roy Hopkins was born in 1935, and was raised by his parents on a farm along with two brothers and a sister. As a child, he attended Bells Grove Christian Church. He attended Louisa Elementary School and Louisa County High School, before receiving an associate’s degree in business. He was Louisa’s Chief of Police for five years and then was the Director of Transportation for Louisa County Schools. He continued to farm while working during his career.
