Interview with Thomas Leckie

Cultural Narrative: 

Thomas Leckie was born in 1921. He was raised by his parents and grew up in West Virginia. Mr. Leckie’s family moved to a farm in Louisa when he was seventeen because of the Great Depression. He discusses helping his father on the farm and his mother selling eggs. He served in Europe during World War II. During the 1950s, Mr. Leckie lived and worked in Charlottesville.
