Earl Mason Sr. was born in 1925 and was raised by his parents, who were farmers. He attended Mineral Elementary and Louisa County High School and was active in the FFA and the Minutemen. He was stationed in the South Pacific during World War II. After the war, Mr. Mason got married and had three children. The interview focuses on the Mr. Mason’s childhood during the Great Depression, his experiences in the Navy during World War II, and his life in Louisa during the 1950s.
