Interview with Edward Moody

Cultural Narrative:

Reverend Edward Moody was born in 1937 and grew up on a farm in Bumpass, Virginia. He attended Plum Tree School for seven years, then he went to the Louisa Training School for two years, and finished high school at A.G. Richardson, graduating in 1955. During that time, Reverend Moody sang in the Laurel Hill Baptist choir and worked at local farms and a sawmill for extra money. After he graduated from high school, Moody served in the Air Force because “he felt obligated to serve the country.” Later in life, Reverend Moody became a minister.
