Interview with Shelby Millholland

Cultural Narrative: 

Shelby Millholland was raised on a farm in Louisa, Virginia. Her family bought their farm from the parents of her future husband, John Millholland. She attended Louisa Elementary School and Louisa Methodist Church. She describes her childhood on the farm and other aspects of daily life, such as shopping, recreation, and healthcare. At the end of the interview, she describes her work at A.G. Richardson School during integration.
